A Rose for Emily
    In the reading segment of A Rose for Emily is a story where we can find different social status and social discrimination. Theres the normal people, that have to pay taxes and everything, but in the other hand theres Emily a woman that doesn't have to pay taxes because she comes from a wealthy family, who had some money invested in the town. But there was a new generation coming to town and they didn't like the deal of Emily having no taxes. When this people try to talk to her, she totally disrespected  them, and ignore them. But a reason why she is disrespectful to people is because of the anger she holds against her father. He didn't let any man get near her, he didn't leave her have a man in her life. Emily holds this anger all her life, and because of that she treats everybody with indifference and with attitude, and she even kill a man because of this anger, she kills him because she didn't wanted to suffer another lost of a man in her life. Emily in the whole story treat everybody the same attitude of ignorance and disrespect and never change it.

      This article is presenting the way that a ceramicist named Constant Albertson uses art to fill the void left by the death of his mother. It explains us how powerful is the void in ceramics. The void to a ceramicist can be a way to express something, or maybe put it in a way that you can visualize it. For example he takes the case of Albertson, in his case, in it presents the form that this ceramicist utilize the void in ceramic, to make an visualized form of the hole that his mother left in him when she died. Many people use the art to make this kind of expressions of their own life. In my opinion that is what art is all about no matter if it's ceramic, drawing, music, literature and others, all of this have the same purpose, expressing something to someone, either from the artist life or from the inspiration of others.
